SELAYANG: Members of GISB Holdings Sdn Bhd (GISB) arrived at the court complex here on Wednesday (Oct 23) under heavy police guard.
These are the 22 who are expected to be charged at the Sessions Court here with being members of an organised criminal group and they include the chief executive officer (CEO) of GISB and his wife.
On Tuesday (Oct 22), Inspector General of Police Tan Sri Razarudin Husain said the individuals would be charged under Section 130V(1) of the Penal Code.
He said that the investigation papers related to the case had been referred to the Attorney General’s Chambers (AGC) earlier in the afternoon.
"The son of the Al-Arqam founder will also be charged with the same offence. All individuals involved will be charged at the Selayang Sessions Court tomorrow morning,” he said when contacted by Bernama on Tuesday (Oct 22) night
